Brief
In regards to this project, my task was to recount a narrative with no limitations beyond that. The choice of both the subject matter and method of delivery were left entirely to my discretion.
Challenge
The challenge at hand was to discover a subject that ignited my passion. Despite brainstorming numerous concepts, I found myself lacking in inspiration. Furthermore, my ambition to produce captivating transitions utilizing AfterEffects presented a hurdle as I faced the task of mastering new techniques. The final obstacle I encountered was managing the lighting, which unfortunately hindered my progress due to its unfavorable positioning solely behind me.
Goal
My objective was to develop a video centered around an intriguing subject matter. Simultaneously, I aimed to expand my knowledge of AfterEffects by acquiring as many new skills as possible within the given time constraints.
Unique Solution
To address this challenge, I arrived at a resolution centered around my current emotional state - feeling uninspired. I chose to document the process of brainstorming and working through this obstacle. To overcome the lighting issue, I resorted to reshooting multiple times. In addition, I utilized black and white filters to my advantage in order to highlight contrast in the video.
